Scrub Seal Project Update

Street Maintenance Progress Notice

The City of Medical Lake has completed the initial scrub seal application on the scheduled streets. The next phase of the project includes street sweeping operations, which are currently underway, followed by the application of a fog seal top coat to complete the road preservation process.

The fog seal is anticipated to be applied in approximately 2 to 3 weeks, weather and scheduling conditions permitting. This final treatment helps protect the roadway surface, extend pavement life, and improve the overall performance of the scrub seal application.

What Residents Can Expect?

Street sweeping crews are currently working throughout the project area.

Temporary parking restrictions may be necessary as crews move through neighborhoods.

Additional notifications will be provided before fog seal operations begin.

Minor traffic delays may occur during maintenance activities.
