WASHINGTON WILDFIRES: COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS

Wildfires raged across the Inland Northwest last year, burning over a million acres and leaving no community untouched.  Is this the new normal for the Inland Northwest? We invite you to share your ideas and opinions about the impact of these wildfires at “kitchen-table” style community conversations.

Participate in engaging discussions led by two to three local experts as they address questions relevant to each community’s specific concerns.  Question topics range from human behavior and climate change to moral duty and community awareness.

Experts leading the conversations include representatives from local fire districts, Fish and Wildlife Services, Forest Service, Department of Natural Resources, and faculty from local colleges and universities.
