Tips to help protect

• Remain calm and
informed
• Wash your hands
• Cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze or cough
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
• Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces
• If at all possible, stay home if you are not feeling well
• Ask your employer about your company’s sick leave and telecommute polices

Washington State- UPDATE

Gov. Jay Inslee announced on March 15, 2020, an emergency
proclamation that mandates the immediate two-week closure of all restaurants,
bars, and entertainment and recreational facilities, as well as additional
limits on large gatherings (50 people or less). The new orders are now in
effect.

City operations – UPDATE

City Hall and the Maintenance Shop will continue to operate within normal
business hours via phone and email, but all buildings will be closed to
the public for walk in traffic until further notice. Utility payments
may be made either in the drop box located outside of city hall or online by
clicking the “Pay Bills” button at the top of the City’s website.

Permit Services will continue to operate within normal business hours via phone
and email, but will be closed to the public for walk in traffic until
further notice. Please contact City Hall for more information on permits at
565-5000.

Parks & Recreation programs have been postponed until further notice. Any
future modifications to activities and programs will be updated on the City’s
website.

Programs, events, and meetings:  City council meetings
have been cancelled until April 21st, and planning commission
meetings have been cancelled until April 30th.  The Hearing Examiner Rezone public hearing
has been postponed until further notice.
All reservations in the city hall auditorium have been cancelled and new
reservations will not be taken until further notice.
